“It always seems impossible. Until it is done”

                                                                        Nelson Mandela

Depression could arise from within us as well as a reaction to the external factors. We all have periods when we feel sad, not interested in activities or life itself. When things are going well people rarely think about support systems. Support from friends and/or family, work colleagues, neighbours or other expatriates (if you live abroad) may not always be sufficient enough to prevent us from reactive depression. Life often feels intensely alone whether or not we are isolated. Not being able to communicate effectively in seeking help adds to depression.

“Loneliness does not come from having no people around you, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to you”

Carl Jung
